“BRIDGES” Soccer

12/28/21 UPDATE– Refugee Soccer is operating a very special project in the American Southwest serving Afghan refugees, or guests as we call them, recently relocated to the US from Afghanistan as part of Operation Allies Refuge. We are currently serving hundreds of children who are living in a camp-like environment far, far from a home they may never see again.

We will be conducting numerous soccer training clinics with these children from December 28th through mid-January. We have filled up the volunteer spots with more than 30 volunteers to help organize, train, and play with these kids who are awaiting placement into new homes around the USA.

This situation is exactly why Refugee Soccer was formed and we are so grateful for the energy, money, can time committed from our on-the-ground volunteers and everyone who has supported us in other ways so far. Click below to support this life-changing mission for hundreds of kids looking for some soccer fun, a little hope, and a comforting connection to people like you in their new home in America.

We are in need of immediate financial support to cover the expenses of these trips: airfare, lodging, transportation, and meals. If you or your organization are interested in supporting this effort with a tax-deductible cash or in-kind donation (miles, gift cards, hotel points, etc.) please make your cash donation here or email Adam @ adam@refugeesoccer.org to discuss your in-kind donation.

We need your help to help our allies and new neighbors, and, candidly, you, too, will benefit from your involvement and support. This is precisely where private organizations and citizens rally to right wrongs, to support those suffering, and to change the course of history even in just small ways for individuals in need.
